KNOWLEDGE

Students have knowledge of basic sociological concepts and terms. They know what sub-disciplines create this field of science and understand the relationships and dependencies with other social sciences and humanities.

Knowledge of basic sociological theories and concepts relating to the structure of society and social phenomena and processes, which will assist in the description, understanding and interpretation of the behavior of individuals and the functioning of social groups. An understanding of the information society and its socio-cultural, economic and technological conditions and the relationship between technology and social change.

SKILLS

Students develop the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, social and professional life

Students can make a critical analysis of the complexity of social and formal structures (organizations, institutions, associations, etc.)

SOCIAL COMPETENCES

Students can build social ties in the proximal and distal environment with particular emphasis on the labor market.

1. A regular and punctual attendance (10%)

2. Participation, Discussion & Experience Sharing (20%)

3. Mid-term exam (20%)

3. Final exam (Multiple choice quiz) (50%)

Calculating your final grade:

360-400 points = 5

320-360 points = 4+

280-320 points = 4

240-280 points = 3 – 3+

0-240 points = 2 (failed)
