(tylko po angielsku) During the semester, students divided into groups of 3-5 people carry out 2 projects related to robotics. The first project is to prepare a team of NAO robots to play football. This project is implemented according to the idea of prof. H. D. Burkhard and on the widely available software prepared by the professor's team: http://www.naoteamhumboldt.de/en/projects/robonewbie/ In the course of this project, the focus is on cognitive science robotics, that is on the robot software, especially on improving the "logic" of the game. The second project is the implementation of a simple robot using the Arduino platform and parts such as: servos, motors, transistors, distance sensors, bluetooth cards, infrared sensors, etc. Students have the opportunity to convince themselves that robotics is an interdisciplinary field that combines a range of sciences. Students integrate, consolidate and deepen knowledge in the fields of electronics, digital technology and programming. Schedule of lectures: 1. General introduction to robotics 7.5 hours 2. Introduction to the subject of programming of NAO robots, solution of exemplary 7.5 h issues 3. Introduction to the subject of the Arduino platform. Discussion of methods of building systems based on Arduino, discussion of the operation of selected sensors and actuators 7.5 h 4. Student presentations of Arduino robots 2.5h 5. NAO robot football games - 2.5 hours 6. Final test 2.5 h |

Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) Students pass on the basis of: 1. Team report mid-semester 15% 2. Team report at the end of the semester 15% 3. Assessment of the Arduino robot 20% 4. Participation and result of the NAO robot team in the 15% football competition 5. Individual report at the end of the semester (each student reports their work independently) 15% 6. Test (solved individually) 20% Notes: Due to the complexity of both projects, it is necessary that students work in groups (the time required for projects exceeds the capacity of a single student). Points 5 and 6 are introduced to diversify the student's assessment within a given team and reduce the scale of the "stowaways" phenomenon, i.e. students who are not suited to teamwork. |
