  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

The focus of this course is to familiarize students with socio-economic analysis and the role of social relations and institutions play in the economy. The course is divided into two major components. The first component is lecture. This part is focuses on the problem of relation between business and society. The first few lectures will establish a general framework for the study of different types of capitalism organization of economic process and economic interests. Considers the implications of work systems and worker participation in both union and non-union work environments. The second component is class. The focus of this course is to familiarize students with socio-economic analysis and the role of social relations and institutions play in the economy. Metody i kryteria oceniania:

1. Lecture participation (10 points).

2. Midterm exercise (40 points) this exercise will test your ability to explain and apply concepts from the discussion session.

3. Final exercise (50 points).

The final course grading criteria is described below

90-100 points Very Good (grade 5)

80-89 points Good plus (grade 4+)

70-79 points Good (grade 4)

60-69 points Satisfactory plus (grade 3+)

50-59 points Satisfactory (grade 3)

40-49 points Marginal (grade 2)
