Skrócony opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) The aim of the subject is to prepare a final diploma thesis consisting of a graphic and written part. Individual meetings with graduates aim to refine the solutions adopted in the diploma thesis. The aim of the subject is to synthesize the knowledge and materials developed within the subject of the Diploma Seminar into a coherent diploma project. |

(tylko po angielsku) Introduction to the topic of developing a diploma thesis. Discussion of the guidelines and scope of the thesis. Discussion of the written part of the work. Consultations at every stage of preparing a thesis. |

Efekty uczenia się: |
(tylko po angielsku) Has knowledge of the construction, materials, physics, thermal and moisture protection of the building. Has the knowledge necessary to properly plan the function of the building, provide adequate comfort to users while using sustainable and ecological solutions in the diploma thesis. Has knowledge of architectural design, construction basics, solving engineering problems and is able to apply them in a project. Knows building materials and their properties and is able to use them in an engineering diploma project. Has the vision needed to independently design a building at the diploma project level, taking into account the structure, installations, principles of building physics and health and safety and fire protection requirements. Knows and understands the issues related to architecture and urban planning when solving the task of the diploma project. Takes into account the historical, cultural and environmental context of the existing location. Has knowledge of economics, regulations related to design and non-technical aspects of this activity. Is aware of the mutual relations of all these elements and knows how to include them in a coherent way in the diploma project. Has knowledge of the design of single- and multi-family buildings, public utility buildings in various environments. Knows and understands the essence of local spatial development plans. Knows about the need to apply universal design and take into account the needs of all users. Knows the requirements for a diploma thesis. Knows the scope of written and graphic development of a diploma at the level of engineering studies and understands the importance of using graphic development and computer technologies in the process of preparing a diploma project. Has knowledge of legislation concerning architectural design, implementation of construction projects, project management methods and basic cost estimation. Understands the principles of creating a multi-discipline project. Knows how to apply these skills in practice when implementing a diploma project. SKILLS Is able to prepare an architectural project in accordance with the topic and scope of the diploma project, taking into account local conditions and requirements for the given design problem. Is able to lead the project in such a way as to give the developed space a new value while maintaining contemporary technical and functional requirements, including taking into account the needs of all users. Is able to apply the principles of universal design in the diploma project. Demonstrates skills in spatial development design and interpretation of local spatial development plans and their translation into design decisions when developing the diploma project. Has the ability to take an interdisciplinary approach to solving the task of the diploma project. Is able to integrate in one study the history of architecture, protection of cultural assets, while demonstrating creativity and responsibility for their actions. Is aware of non-technical aspects of design activity, including the impact on users and the natural environment. He is able to solve structures and structural elements taking into account the technology of their execution and the selection of materials. He demonstrates the ability to select building materials taking into account the requirements of construction, materials taking into account the physics of buildings, which he demonstrates in the development of the diploma project. Has the ability to create visualizations, computer simulations and analyses and is able to use them in the development of a diploma project. Is proficient in design support software. Is able to use techniques and tools that allow the development of a project at the level of an engineering diploma. Has the ability to obtain materials necessary to develop a diploma project. Is able to present this information in their work and correctly indicate sources. Looks for sources in legal acts regulating design, books, magazines and internet sources, also in foreign languages. Is able to accurately formulate design guidelines based on source materials and previous experience and use them in developing a diploma project. Has the ability to navigate interdisciplinary aspects of architectural design. Is able to pursue their own professional development while respecting professional ethics, which is reflected in the final diploma project. Is able to use regulations and standards used in design in the development of a diploma project. Is able to implement economically rational design solutions. SOCIAL COMPETENCES Is aware of the value of local heritage, its importance and is ready to protect it during project activities. Is responsible for his/her actions, taking into account social, environmental and intercultural aspects, and treats them with respect and understanding. Is aware of and prepared for a large degree of independence in preparing the diploma thesis, making design decisions and defining design conditions. Undertakes self-assessment and criticism of own actions and is able to introduce changes and improvements in the diploma thesis. Solves individual stages of the diploma project in a planned and systematic manner and communicates the effects of his work with the Supervisor and is ready for discussion and presentation of his design decisions. Adheres to professional ethics and takes responsibility for his/her design decisions, which should be reflected in his/her diploma thesis. |
