  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;

This course will address to China as a new emerging competitors for global market. New environmental trends are exerting a profound impact on the patterns of global competition. Most of the material will be organized around such issues as: long - run growth and short - run fluctuations of the Chinese economy, reforming China's public sector, the competitive strategies available to multinational enterprise, Chinese politics, culture and trade.

The focus of this course is to familiarize students with the consequences of modernization and social development, the role of increasing investments across national boundaries.

U2; The graduate can can define complex business problems and to formulate their solutions in a creative, conscious and ethical manner, using for this purpose the tools of business analytics and available information and communication systems. He/she can formulate and test hypotheses related to simple research problems.

Assessment methods;

1. Midterm exercises 1 (50 points)

2. Midterm exercises 2 (50 points)

The final course grading criteria is described below;

91 – 100 points; Very Good (grade 5), 81 – 90 points; Good plus (grade 4.5)

71 – 80 points; Good (grade 4), 61 – 70 points; Satisfactory plus (grade 3.5)

51 – 60 points; Satisfactory (grade 3), 0 - 50 points; Failing (grade 2)

Class participation. Students are expected to be prepared for items that the syllabus cites for the day indicated as read or prepare. Participants are required to actively participate in class and discussions. Likewise, they are expected in class on time.
