Personal function - goals and tasks of the personnel function, evolution and models of personnel policy (5h). 2. Human resources planning - factors determining personnel needs, techniques of forecasting personal needs. Personnel recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees. Recruitment sources, ways of selection (5h). 3. Employee appraisal systems - the essence, objectives and functions of employees' evaluations (5h). 4. Financial and non-financial motivation - modern incentive systems. Effective employee remuneration systems - remuneration policy, essence, types and elements of remuneration (5h). 5. Development and improvement of human resources - elements, areas and functions of human resources development. Employee training - creating training plans, coaching, mentoring (5h). 6. Leadership as a key factor in HRM in the 21st century. Managers’ power and sources of power in people management (2,5). 7. Organization of the HRM Department - tasks. Role and functions of the personal manager. Challenges facing human resource management in contemporary organizations. (2,5h). |

(tylko po angielsku) Evaluate 5.0 - a full realization of the desired student learning outcomes (knowledge, skills, social skills), individual presentation/project (exam) - 40% (in writing form); group presentations - 40%; student’s class activity - 20% . ***Individual presentation/project (exam): “The role and importance of HRM in in the tourism industry” - 40% (in writing form); ***Group presentation: “ Human Resources Management - the role and meaning of the selected problem (e.g. recruitment and selection, employee appraisal, etc.).- 40%; ***Student’s class activity - 20% . |
