Efekty uczenia się: (tylko po angielsku)

Has knowledge of functions, basic engineering issues and shaping the architectural form of the conceptual design of a multi-family residential building.

He knows and understands issues related to architecture and urban planning in the field of solving simple design problems, also in the context of social, cultural, natural, historical, economic, legal and other non-technical conditions of engineering activity. Understands the relationship between man and architecture, and between architecture and the surrounding environment, and the need to adapt architecture to the needs and scale of man. Understands design conditions resulting from human psychophysical abilities. Understands the principles of architectural design: multi-family residential housing, service facilities, public utility facilities in an open landscape or in an urban environment, small building complexes, local spatial development plans, taking into account local conditions and connections. Understands the principles of universal design, including the idea of designing spaces and buildings accessible to all users, as well as the principles and parameters of ergonomics, necessary to ensure the functionality of the designed space and facilities for users, in particular people with disabilities. Understands the importance of the natural environment in architectural and urban design and spatial planning.

SKILLS

Has the ability to prepare a conceptual design of a multi-family residential building.

Is able to design an architectural object or a simple urban complex in order to give the space new values, take into account the requirements and needs of all users and meet the aesthetic and technical requirements. Is able to prepare architectural and construction documentation in appropriate scales in relation to the conceptual architectural design, cooperating with members of the design team. Can implement the principles and guidelines of universal design

in architecture, urban planning and spatial planning.

He can prepare planning studies concerning spatial development and interpret them to the extent necessary for designing on an urban and architectural scale. He can make a critical analysis of conditions, including the valorization of land development and buildings.

Is able to develop solutions for individual structures and building elements in terms of technology, construction and materials, using the knowledge and skills in the field of mathematics and spatial geometry.

He can use properly selected computer simulations, information technologies, analyzes, supporting design. Can think and act creatively, using the workshop skills necessary to maintain and expand the ability to implement artistic concepts in architectural and urban design. Can communicate using various techniques and tools.

Is able to select the appropriate set of analog and digital tools in order to effectively present design assumptions, architectural concept and prepare technical documentation of a multi-family residential building.

SOCIAL COMPETENCES

Able to work independently and cooperate in a team with assigned tasks.

He is ready to think for himself in order to solve simple design problems, reliable self-assessment and constructive criticism of architectural and urban planning activities. Can provide information and formulate opinions on the achievements of architecture and urban planning, their determinants and other aspects of an architect's activity.

Metody i kryteria oceniania: (tylko po angielsku)

The quality of task implementation is assessed according to the stages and elements of the design process in the following proportions: general concept 10%, implementation of the general concept in the field of formal-aesthetic, functional and technical-construction solutions 60%, aesthetics of project presentation 10%, activity in the classroom and consultations 20% .
